Not a bad little ground. Good atmosphere generated and decent views from the away section.
Only downside was that the stewards were shocking. Bully boy tactics and boorish behaviour.
The Habbin stand seemed populated with drunken students on the five pound entry level tickets. All they did was annoy and mock people. Well done Cambridge United. Better off without these idiots.
Classic ground. Friendly atmosphere. The only problem is where to put everyone once the U's are in the Premiership! I mean if Luton can do it...
Game got called off.
Big sad
In the way end. Didn't try the over priced food after reading other reviews. Att 6011 (151) Accrington Stanley supporters made more noise. Looks like a well run football club, short on goals, don't think they will be relegated but you neverknow.
Was a really nice venue for a family members birthday party!
The staff were a little unapproachable at times and often would disappear behind the bar but other than that a really great venue!
Came here in the early 90s for a Friday night game. Came last season for first-time since, and then again this season the one thing that really stands out is how friendly the stewards photographer and a lot of the fans we spoke to before …
It has the feel of an old school ground with the four floodlight pylons in the corners i like these kind of grounds as there are not many left it has lots of character and with the club actively trying to move to a new stadium now is the time to visit this gem where a friendly welcome awaits .
A very dated football stadium but one that's full of character. Concessions and toilet facilities are basic but the view from the terrace is decent and the locals are friendly enough. Street parking in the area can be an issue, I ended up 15 minutes away and squeezed into a space outside terrace housing.
What can you say about The Abbey....
Classic old stadium, 4 different stands, some newish and some are from the 60s (or possibly before). So much better than the new soulless stadiums. …
